When the world falls apart, and you fear for your heart, there's a tower of peace, it's still the cross. Wow- This song came out a couple of years ago by a group called Far From Home- or better known as FFH. Something just jumps out at me everytime I hear that song. Maybe because I have had several earthshaking moments like that over the last couple of years. Where I felt my world was crashing in around me, and absolutely no where to go but down on my knees. Then, I am guilty, yes I felt guilty because I would think why now? Why choose Him now? Over and over God reveals Himself to me, and still I question His love for me. At this moment I am going through one of the most difficult things I have ever been through apart from losing Savannah, and let me tell you there have been nights on my face; crying out to a God that I feel I set on a shelf until He is needed in a "crisis" whether it be a crisis of faith, trust, or life, and my confession is that I have conveniently left my saviour on a shelf. The last 3 months have been a rollercoaster and last week while brushing my teeth God said to me " I got this" and it was so clear it stopped me in my steps and shook my soul, and the shackles of fear, discomfort, betrayal, ignorance, were stripped from my spirit, and I am Free. I will be a believer that will allow God to reveal Himself whenever He would like- and I won't put boundaries on Him- because He is Bigger.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
